We gathered in the Theatre hall, to watch our movies and the first year of BAAMs photos. I really enjoyed watching the films on big screen, however I was disappointed by the noise BAAM1 made, fortunately some of them left in the meantime. After that it was enjoyable.
I was happy to see our movies on the big screen.
It was a fun semester, we learned lots of new things. It was a good course.

Done!
Finally we had the whole thing put together. Unfortunately some major chunks were missing and it didnt have a proper ending. Luckily the film was cleverly cut, thus it was interesting and exciting to watch. We need to learn how to shoot with less raw material, otherwise producers won't like us too much :)
We showed it to the class, and we felt everyone liked it very much.

Editing
Editing followed as usual. It took quite a lot of time, to decide how we want which picture. We slowly started to work out, how each scene should appear, how it would be perfect.
I learned how to edit the sound track, and it was a very good experience in trying out myself on new areas of editing.

Shooting the 10 mins
Finally there we stood, with a camera, and me as actor.
We shot the whole thing in one day. Gergő had it all planned out, but, throughout the shoot, everything got shorter and shorter. Finally, tired and exhausted, learning about acting and shooting a whole lot, we came to an end. Everyone was satisfied.

Music!!!!
I found the last class really interesting, it was good to learn about how film music is done and how Spielberg worked on E.T.'s music with John Williams. The Tom and Jerry episode was funny!

Planning
Making a film, is just like setting up a business. You need to have everything carefully planned out, from the smallest detail, before you can start doing anything. The slightest mistake, or forgetfulness can lead to the delay of your shoot. Every participant of the issue has to be set, and ready, and knowing what to do, otherwise it won't work out.
The next step to estabilish a script, which will be the guideline to what to do and when.
We are at the point of developing this, we have decided to write it in hungarian, because it would be mad to translate the whole script and would take double the energy.
It will be about a guy, who is treated by a doctor, and the viewers follow him back into his memories to try to find out why he is there, what he is doing, and what his problems are.

Editing dreams.
Editing is one of the most interesting part of the movie making process, this is the part where the film, gets its soul poured into the lifeless shots taken, during the shoot.
I had lots of fun, with experimenting with the rythm of how to cut the film, and how different timing gave a different outcome.
Great fun!
